Allard Auctions, Inc., located in the historic town of St. Ignatius, Montana, in the heart of the beautiful Flathead Indian Reservation and at the base of the majestic Mission Mountains, has been selling Native Americana for longer than any other auction house in the country. Founded by Col. Doug Allard in 1968, it was purchased in 1997 by his son, Steve, who has since been striving to incorporate the most up-to-date technology to provide our clients with the most efficient service while still maintaining a friendly, down-to-earth, traditional auction atmosphere.

Identified by USA Today as one of “10 great places to do your bidding” (Oct. 22, 2004), Allard Auctions conducts at least three large “catalog” auctions per year, two in Arizona and one in Santa Fe, selling 1000 to 1500 items over the course of two to three days per show. Items that are offered include everything collectible in the Native American and Western categories, as well as a few pieces from other cultural areas such as Mexico, South America, Africa and Asia. You can expect to see everything imaginable from old and new beadwork, jewelry, basketry, and carvings, to weapons, pottery, rugs, artwork, and photographs. Bidding for these large shows can be done in person, or via traditional absentee bidding, phone bidding on a limited basis, and most recently through live, online bidding through icollector and LiveAuctioneers.

Beautiful full color catalogs for these shows are digitally produced and professionally printed. They are available for purchase approximately 3 to 4 weeks prior to each auction and include a post-sale Prices Realized listing. You can also view the items in our online catalog (coming soon!) approximately 3 weeks prior to each auction.

In addition to the catalog auctions, Allard Auctions also conducts smaller, one-day sales on the West Coast in areas such as Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, and Couer d’Alene, Idaho. These two- to three-day series auctions take place 7 or 8 times a year and consist of approximately 300 items per location.

All of us here at Allard Auctions are at your service and invite you to browse through our current and past auction catalogs and to contact us with any questions you might have. Whether you are a novice buyer or experienced collector, we look forward to the opportunity to assist you in your buying experience. And on the other hand, if you have a single item or an entire collection that you are interested in selling, we would be happy to explain our near-effortless consignment process to you.
